Welcoming a new baby into your family is one of the most beautiful, and overwhelming, seasons of life.
And when it comes to newborn photos, one of the biggest questions I get is:

When to Schedule Your Newborn Session
The best time to book your newborn session is during your second or third trimester.
This allows us to get everything tentatively scheduled around your due date, so once baby arrives, you don’t have to worry about scrambling to find availability.
From there, I stay flexible. Because as we all know, babies don’t always arrive on schedule. If we need to adjust our session because baby came earlier to later than expected, that’s not a problem.
Once your little one is here, we’ll finalize your session date based on how you’re feeling and what works best for your family.

That’s why I keep the planning process as easy and supportive as possible.
I’ll guide you through everything you need to know: from what to wear, to how to prepare your space, to what will make the session flow smoothly.
You don’t need to have everything “perfect.” You don’t need to clean your entire home.
You just need to show up as you are.
I have beautiful items in my client closet perfect for post partum mom and even your newborn for you to use. I’ll help coordinate everyone’s outfit. I make it easy, so you can focus on the love and excitement of your family.
The Beauty of In-Home Newborn Sessions
All of my newborn sessions take place in your home, and there’s a reason for that.
You don’t have to pack a diaper bag, load the car, or worry about forgetting something important.
Everything you need is already there.
Your baby is in a familiar environment.
You’re comfortable.
And the entire session feels calm and natural.
We use the spaces in your home that have the best light, keeping things simple and focused on connection rather than perfection.

What I Bring to Make It Easy
Even though we’re in your home, you don’t have to provide anything for the session.
I bring everything we might need: a moses basket, client closet options, simple wraps, neutral pieces, and anything that helps create a soft, timeless feel.
I keep things minimal so the focus stays on your baby and your connection as a family.
No complicated setups.
Just real, beautiful moments.
A Session That Moves at Your Baby’s Pace
This is one of the most important parts of how I photograph newborn sessions.
There is no rushing.
There is no strict timeline.
We follow your baby’s lead the entire time.
If baby needs to be fed, we pause.
If baby needs to be held, we slow down.
If baby is wide awake, we capture that too.
You never have to worry about “running out of time” or missing something important.
Your session unfolds exactly how it’s meant to.

One of my favorite parts of the process is how quickly you get to see your images.
Within just a few days of your session, we’ll meet over Google Meet for your reveal.
This is where you’ll see your gallery for the first time; reliving those moments and choosing your favorite images.
Receiving Your Photos & Products
After your reveal, you’ll receive your purchased digital images that same day.
And if you choose to order products like wall art or an album, those are delivered in less than two weeks.
So not only do you get a relaxed, stress-free session…
You also get to enjoy your images quickly!
